Privacy policy

Who we are

Banivo is an early-stage consumer technology project developing a privacy-first household sensing platform. This policy covers information collected through banivo.ai. It does not yet describe a shipping product, because there is not one.

What we collect

• Early-access details you give us: first name, email address, country, and your answers to the validation survey.
• Acquisition data: the campaign, source and referring page that brought you here, including UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers.
• Usage events: pages viewed, sections reached, buttons clicked and scroll depth, together with a hashed form of your IP address.
• Questions you send us through the site or our social accounts.

We do not store raw IP addresses against your record, and we do not ask for payment details.

Why we collect it

To email you about early access, to decide which sensing capabilities to build first, to understand which markets and messages resonate, and to measure our advertising. That is the whole list.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. When enabled, the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API help us measure whether an advertisement led to a signup. Information shared with Meta for measurement is hashed before it leaves our systems. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.

Where it is stored

Early-access records are stored with our hosting and database providers (currently Vercel and Supabase). We apply access controls and keep the data set deliberately small. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with grocery, retail or delivery companies.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely by writing to privacy@banivo.ai. We will act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes

Banivo is in development, and this policy will grow as the product does — particularly before any hardware ships and household sensing data exists. We will post the updated date at the top of this page when it changes.
