Design concept. Banivo Hub, Banivo B sensing points and the Banivo app.

Designed for privacy

Sense, don’t watch.

Most “smart home” products ask you to accept a camera in your kitchen. Banivo takes the opposite approach. Banivo is being designed around small, low-power sensing points that measure things like weight, level, presence and temperature — the signals needed to tell whether a product is full, getting low, or gone. Banivo tracks products, not people.

Don’t watch
Sense

No cameras required

The Banivo system is being designed around camera-free sensing. No lenses on the hub. No lenses on the sensing points.

Banivo tracks products, not people

The signals Banivo is designed to read describe containers and supplies — not who is in the room, and not what they are doing.

Your home stays private

Household data is being designed to stay minimal: what you have, how much is left, and when it may need replacing.

You decide what is sensed

A Banivo sensing point only exists where you place one. Remove it and that item stops being tracked.

Banivo is in active development. We describe our privacy design intent honestly, and we will publish a full data and security policy before shipping.

How Banivo works

Four steps. That’s the whole system.

Peel. Stick. Sense. The rest happens in the app.

  1. 01

    Place

Put a Banivo B sensing point where you want Banivo to keep track of something.

  2. 02

    Connect

The Banivo Hub connects sensing points throughout the home.

  3. 03

    Sense

Banivo detects changes such as quantity, presence, weight, or level depending on the sensor.

  4. 04

    Know

The Banivo app tells you what is running low and what may need attention.

The hardware

One small hub. As many sensing points as you need.

Banivo hardware is designed to disappear into your home — matte, minimal, and marked with nothing but the orange b.

Banivo B

Peel. Stick. Sense.

Small enough to forget. Smart enough to matter.

A tiny branded sensing point that goes where the product is. Banivo B pairs with very inexpensive sensing components depending on the job — pressure, approximate weight, liquid level, temperature, humidity, or simple presence and absence.

  • Looks like a branded sticker, not a gadget
  • No lens, no display, no exposed electronics
  • Designed for long-life, low-power operation
  • Designed for everyday household environments and water-resistant applications

The Banivo app

Your household, at a glance.

Every sensing point reports into one calm dashboard: what’s left, what needs attention, and which device needs a new battery.

Where Banivo started: good food, less waste.

Receipt scanning

Scan your receipt in the Banivo app.

Scan your receipt in the Banivo app and help Banivo understand what came home with you. Banivo can use that information to recognise new household purchases and keep your inventory current — no camera in your kitchen required.

  1. 1Open the Banivo app after a shop
  2. 2Scan the receipt or a product barcode
  3. 3Confirm the items Banivo recognised
  4. 4Your inventory and lists update

Planned capability. Scanning happens in the app, on your phone, when you choose to do it.

Device health

Banivo tells you before a Banivo goes quiet.

Some active Banivo B transmitters are expected to have a replaceable lifecycle. The app watches battery health and gives you warning — long before a sensing point stops reporting.

Designed for long-life, low-power operation

Sensing points are being designed to sip power and stay out of your way.

Warning, not surprise

The app flags a low battery early and can drop a replacement straight onto your list.

Replace only what needs it

Device health is tracked per sensing point, so you never replace a healthy one.

Battery duration will depend on sensor type and usage. We will publish figures once validation is complete.

FAQ

Questions people ask us.

Does Banivo use cameras?

Banivo is being designed around privacy-first sensing technologies rather than relying on cameras. There are no camera lenses in the Banivo Hub or the Banivo B sensing points.

Is Banivo available now?

Banivo is currently in development and early-access testing. Nothing on this site is available for purchase yet, and we are not taking orders.

How much will it cost?

Our current target is approximately $19.99 for the Banivo Hub, with Banivo Sense options starting at low-cost price points depending on sensor type. These are development targets, not final retail prices.

Do I need a smart refrigerator?

No. Banivo is being designed to work with the household products and appliances you already own.

Can I use Banivo outside the kitchen?

Yes. Banivo is being designed for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, pet supplies, pantry storage, and other household applications.

Will Banivo integrate with grocery apps?

Future versions are being designed with grocery, retail, and delivery integrations in mind. Partnerships have not yet been announced.

What exactly are the orange b stickers?

They are Banivo B sensing points — small branded transmitters that can be paired with inexpensive sensing components depending on what you want to keep track of. We are deliberately keeping some of the detail for early-access testers.

How accurate are the quantity readings?

Readings are estimates, and accuracy will depend on the product, the container and the sensor type. We would rather say that plainly than publish an accuracy figure we have not validated.

Can Banivo be used around water?

Banivo sensing points are being designed for everyday household environments and water-resistant applications, including kitchens and bathrooms. We are not claiming dishwasher safety, and we will not until engineering validation is complete.

Do the sensing points need batteries?

Some Banivo B transmitters are expected to be active devices with a replaceable lifecycle, and the app is designed to warn you before replacement is needed. Others may be passive. We are still finalising the mix.
