Designed for privacy
Most “smart home” products ask you to accept a camera in your kitchen. Banivo takes the opposite approach. Banivo is being designed around small, low-power sensing points that measure things like weight, level, presence and temperature — the signals needed to tell whether a product is full, getting low, or gone. Banivo tracks products, not people.
The Banivo system is being designed around camera-free sensing. No lenses on the hub. No lenses on the sensing points.
The signals Banivo is designed to read describe containers and supplies — not who is in the room, and not what they are doing.
Household data is being designed to stay minimal: what you have, how much is left, and when it may need replacing.
A Banivo sensing point only exists where you place one. Remove it and that item stops being tracked.

A small Wi-Fi and Bluetooth gateway that links your Banivo sensing points to the Banivo app. Plug it in once, somewhere out of the way, and forget it exists.

Scan your receipt in the Banivo app and help Banivo understand what came home with you. Banivo can use that information to recognise new household purchases and keep your inventory current — no camera in your kitchen required.

Some active Banivo B transmitters are expected to have a replaceable lifecycle. The app watches battery health and gives you warning — long before a sensing point stops reporting.

Device health is tracked per sensing point, so you never replace a healthy one.
